Privacy Notice
How JOLSY handles the information you choose to give us.
Who we are
JOLSY is a UK-focused travel discovery service. For privacy questions, access requests or corrections, email info@jolsy.co.uk.
What we collect
You can use the ski matcher and see your results without giving us your name or email. If you choose to send your shortlist to JOLSY or ask for help with the practical search, we may collect your name, email, party size, departure area, board basis, accommodation preference, the trip profile you created, marketing choice and partner-help interest.
Why we use it
- To provide the follow-up or shortlist you asked for.
- To understand what travellers are looking for and improve JOLSY.
- To send marketing only if you separately opt in.
- To discuss partner help where you asked for it. We will not pass identifiable details to a travel partner unless we separately agree that with you.
- To protect the site and keep appropriate business records.
Analytics
Google Analytics is optional and does not load unless you choose Allow analytics. See Cookies & Analytics.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the website. Formspree processes optional follow-up form submissions. Google Analytics is used only with analytics consent. Email providers may be used to communicate with you. We do not sell personal information.
International processing
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, appropriate safeguards should apply to those transfers.
Retention
We aim to keep ordinary trip enquiries for no longer than 12 months after the last meaningful contact unless a legal or business-record reason requires longer. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe or they are no longer useful.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to use of your information and, in some cases, receive a portable copy. You can withdraw consent where we rely on it. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
