JOLSY is a UK-focused travel discovery service starting with ski holidays. The aim is simple: turn a huge, messy choice into a smaller shortlist that reflects the whole trip.
What JOLSY is trying to solve
Most ski searches start with a country, resort or package. Real people often start somewhere else: “we have a nervous beginner”, “I hate long transfers”, “one person does not ski”, “we need a pool”, “we want good food”, or “we cannot spend that much”. JOLSY starts with those constraints.
How the matcher works
The current ski matcher compares 30 editorial resort profiles. Each resort is scored on family fit, beginner terrain, intermediate and advanced scope, mixed-ability balance, village atmosphere, nightlife, wellness, non-ski appeal, value positioning, travel ease, snow profile and ski-day convenience.
We use current resort and ski-area sources for factual details such as access, terrain, facilities and operating information.
JOLSY then converts those details into practical decision weights. These are our own editorial scores, not official resort ratings.
The matcher weights those profiles against your group, priorities, budget, ability and travel month.
What the scores do not mean
A score of 5 for “family” does not mean a resort is objectively five-star. It means JOLSY considers it especially strong for family-trip factors in the current comparison model. The same resort can be brilliant for one group and a poor fit for another.
Commercial relationships
JOLSY currently uses affiliate links, including a Skiworld affiliate link. A partner relationship does not automatically improve a resort’s matcher score. Commercial links are labelled when you encounter them. See the Partner Disclosure.
How often we review guides
Guide pages show a review date and link to the sources used as a starting point. Resort facts, transport, lift access, prices and services can change. Always check the current provider or resort information before booking.
